Does it cost for me to join the U Sports Network and run my own sports fan site?
No it does not. Joining the USN is free to you. We take care of all the costs. We just ask for your enthusiasm, time and opinions.

  • U Sports Network will buy and own the domain name. We will work with you to find the right fit for a name.
  • We will host the site on our servers.
  • We will assist in designing and setting up your site.
  • We will mentor you on how to get the site rolling.
  • Advertising and publicity! This is HUGE. Probably the single largest thing we can do for you is send you instant traffic. Once the site gets added to our network, we will send traffic from our other related sports sites. A huge benefit to being in the USN and not running an independent site.
  • An opportunity to earn money while blogging about sports. This will not happen right away. But as your site grows, we can discuss ways for you to earn money with U Sports Network.

    • What do I have to do to run a U Sports Network site?

  • You must promote the website anywhere and everywhere to help it grow! We don’t want dead sites in our network. If we notice dead sites, we will begin searching for a new person to run the site.
  • Provide original content such as news articles, blog writeups, web links, polls, etc… Most of the times it helps to assign a person or two to help you with this part.

    • How can I join up with U Sports Network?
    Fill out the “Request Form” below stating your intentions for the site. Is this is a brand new site? Are you wanting to convert a current site to USN? What team/sports? Why you would like this site? Why you would make a good admin? What is your desired domain name? We will review all requests and have a member of our staff get back to you as quickly as possible.

    You might wonder how we can afford to create, operate and advertise all these sites in the U Sports Network? We collect income from ads found on all network sites. This income is used to pay for the webserver, hosting, domain names and U Sports Network employee wages. Also, you will not actually own this site. The site is owned by the U Sports Network. We reserve the right to change design, change content, shut down a site, change admins, and/or sell a site at any point in time.
